Josh42
Hi all, Recently done a Auto-Manual conversion and tonight my clutch pedal kept sticking down to the floor. Any ideas?
TheTurtleshead
My money would be on...You either didn't bleed the system properly, it has a leak or there is something wrong with the seals in your master or slave cylinders. What brake fluid did you use?
Josh42
I used motul Dot4. It was fine until today, seems strange. System bled well with no air coming through....
TheTurtleshead
I had a tiny leak from the brake line connector on the side of the master cylinder, it worked itself loose to the point where it suddenly dew in a load of air and the pedal stuck down. Check all the joins and the bleed nipple first. Obviously also check that the level of the fluid in your master cylinder hasn't changed. If the rubbers in the master/slave have gone, it's not too bad a job. The rebuild kits from toyota are only around £35 each, providing the cylinder isn't scored to buggery!
