URGENT help needed!

I have owned my non turbo supra for nearly 2 weeks. It started everytime without fail until about a week ago. Sometimes it starts straight away wether cold or not and other times it just clicks. I think it might be the starter motor but im unsure as ive had starter motor problems before on other cars and the actual motor gave in after 1-2days. This one however doesnt seem to want to give in (if it is that).

If i turn the key and it wont start it makes a loud click. Sometimes it will just need me to turn the key once and others 10+ times.. it doesnt turnover or anything.

Any help would be appreciated.. It doesnt happen all the time which is why when i take it to a garage, it doesnt do it (typical).

Thanks

Dom

P.S the battery and alternator have been tested and they are 100%.

Check the Earth conection on the Starter, there is a rubber cover over the nut and if it is not on properly it fills with water and corrodes the connection

Had this exact thing on a Supra I bought and sold a couple of years ago

Could be wrong, but it's a free thing to check

That's not the earth, that's the +12 feed from the battery :)

The starter earths through the engine block.
