j_jza80
As Jamie says its a HKS T62 which is the part number. It's the next size up from the T51. They didn't make many of them as they were a special edition. They are rated to around 1200hp It also happens to sound like a jet when they spool, they sound incredible! Rob_Mitchell
How you guys going to keep this kind of power down, this set up will be lighting up the tyres...! Jay has the best starting point with the nur arches and fat rubber. The proper way it should be done. Still going to light the tyres but thats the fun part lmfao... plus he can drive! Lee P
Turning our attention to the inside of the car, Simon did a great job of fitting the roll cage in and making the rear bars removable. Jay wants to keep the rear seats usable so the rear cross bars are quick release. Will get more pics of the cage up once the interior goes in. For now we have stripped the cage back out so we can work on it. Despite the big power we still want to make the car drivable so the inside will be full trim with audio system. We start by sound proofing the whole interior which will also help with heat from the engine bar and trans tunnel.
Lee P
The doors already had an early version of my speaker brackets in with alpine R Type speakers. We are reusing the speakers as they are very good but fitting new speaker brackets. The mastic that holds the waterproof membrane on had gone completely hard and useless so we renewed it. Lee P
The audio system will be high quality, I have a good relationship with Alpine and as Jay already had the Type R fronts we wanted to go with a full system. hodge
That manifold looks a good design around the manifold studs. They look to be easily accessible compared to other manifolds on the market.
