I'd personally find some nice 19's mate as they suit the mkiv much better than 20's

and if set up correctly you shouldn't have any issues

 

These are the tyre sizes you'd use on the wheels you've mentioned and

the difference from stock

 

Front 235 x 30 x 20 is 0.93 % or 6mm larger than o/e uk

 

Rear 255 x 30 x 20 is 3.93 % or 25mm larger than o/e uk
