Guest Dcowan1991
Not sure if this has been posted before. Probably has but i cant find a post on it. I am looking for a detail description on how to remove the drivers side bit of dash (the bit that holds all the controls and cd player, see picture). I seen on another post that the rubber coating on it can be rubbed off and im also looking to change the head unit. Can someone please give me a detailed description, possibly with pictures, on how to remove it? I have no idea where to start nor do i have any idea where any of the clips are. I obviously dont want to break anything. Thank you.

thetrashcanman
On my phone so this might not be the best description ever, but basically the top section where the hazards button is all in one section, heald on by 5 or 6 screws, disconnect all the connectors, then unscrew I believe there's two screws that hold a cover around the instrument cluster. After that pull the handbrake/gearbox cover off, then you should be able to pull the section where the radio is off. Should be all you need to know. Unless I've missed something.
