Supra Kong
I used motip bumperspray. Great matt finish and very scratch resistant. Black and dark grey available, I used th dark grey. Not the best pic, but gives an impression. http://i415.photobucket.com/albums/pp240/rsybrandy/IMAG0038.jpg That looks pretty cool!
rsme
Thanks. I actually painted the gauges (boost, a/f and meth inj.)the same colour to keep the oem look.
Noz
Ignore the green, it's all changed now. But halfords matt black (not satin) is an awesome match to the current stock pre-facelift dash. I done my triple pillar with it, and it matched the OEM dash perfectly. I've sprayed the worst parts of the dash, and it matchs the panels left un-painted. Supra Gaz
So how does one remove the rubbery coat? I used brake cleaner and a plastic spoon (so it didn't scratch) that kind of just fell off as I went.... Soaking in hot water with fairy washing up works too but needs more elbow grease. SupraStar 3000
So how does one remove the rubbery coat? lubricant. Or lay in a bath of cold water. Normally the sweat exuded through the pores of the skin help as a natural lube but you may need extra help on particularly tight leather pants. Hope that helps.
