Big Mark
I've had a slow brake fluid leak for a while and can see that fluid seems to be leaking from where the reservoir joins the master cylinder. I'm guess there is some rubber sealed somewhere there that has perished. Anyone know exactly what parts I need and is it a simple fix? I'm going to drain down my brakes soon anyway to fit braided hoses and pssible paint my calipers so hopint to do all jons at the same time. Dnk
If you look in the WSM brake system section page BR-11 you will see nice diagrams of the complete system including the brake master cylinder and reservoir You'll find the WSM's on the forum home page, click on repair manuals at the top left of the page, these cover most things regarding the mkiv gte and geBR.pdf Edited November 1, 2012 by Dnk (see edit history)
Big Mark
Thanks! Looks like I need to replace the two grommets. Any idea where I can find out the part numbers?
