abtin90
Pm Steve Manley he works at toyota he can usually get good prices. Paul whiffin can also get genuine parts at a discount rate Hope this helps
Dnk
Steve Manley is off for 2 weeks and as far as i know he's not a member on here. You would need to call him at Inchcape Toyota near Oxford, why not try your local Toyota dealership and see how much discount they will give you, the max is usually 20% and depends on the parts as the % discount varies Retail is £210 + vat and looks like you can get 10% discount off them, if ordered now you'd get it on the 8th/9th Nov Edited October 31, 2012 by Dnk (see edit history)

Chris Wilson
Not many people break TT engines, so finding TT specific covers and castings is hard work. If they weren't made of cast alloy full of impurities you could maybe get it welded, but welding will probably fail, or be porous. DO NOT over tighten your cam cover bolts!! _Shane_
thats exactly what the garage said ^^^ if they spend time welding it and stuff it still maybe un-useable when they try and fit it to the car etc The search continues
