NOODLE
i filled up with vpower this morning and as soon asi pulled off the engine light came on, anyone else had this issue?
Abz
If its an NA then you shouldn't need VPower if anything I'd recommend running it on regular. Anyway, never had this experience myself. You tried switching engine off & back on again? Does the car idle lumpy? Not firing on all cylinders?
Dnk
Is the tailgate/boot shut

No runs ok, if anything it idles better haha ive run it on high octane more times then regular if im honest with no light on what so ever, infact the previous owner claimed to only use high octane fuel too, i cant guarentee that they did obviously. Im just wondering if its due to me putting a high octane fuel in after using regular and its not mixed well. Its just weird how it happened as i was leaving the petrol station. SupraDan24
Have you checked your boot as Dnk has said, it's a good shout. It's easy to pull the wrong leaver.

I ran my old NA on vpower and sometimes had to put regular in. Never had a problem with mixing the two. I go with dnk. Check the boot. Ian C
Is it actually the engine light (yellow pictogram of engine, upper right bunch of lights) or the red ! light? Neither will light up because of fuel grade anyway, so making sure the boot is shut is a good idea. Did the light come on after getting to a certain speed or the moment you moved on the garage forecourt?

Nic
Low brake fluid level is one of the most common reasons for random main warning light, accelerating, braking, cornering, etc. can trigger the light if the fluid is on the low side.
