Kev.O
Guys, I'm in the process on helping someone re-wire a Supra which will be road legal but built for the strip. I have a couple of questions that I would really appreciate some input on please. Does the Syvecs need to see an input from the brake sensor or reverse sensor? Where do I wire the Dash 2 Can bus into (I'll take a picture of the ECU loom)? Thanks in Advance.

Wez
The Dash2 can bus module needs wiring into Can Hi and Can Lo and I don't believe the Syvecs gives a toot about the brake or reverse sensor If using an S6GP you can get the pin out doc here http://www.syvecs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=

Kev.O
As I'm planning on using the Can bus, am I right in saying that the Dash 2 doesn't need to have the speed sensors/speedo hard wired into the back of the Dash 2 as it will receive this information via the serial lead (Can bus)? It's just the lights/indicators/fuel/power that I need to hard wire?
Kev.O
Is anyone able to answer this please? I'm looking at wiring the dash loom in the next few days.

Chris Wilson
If the information is available on the CanBus and the Syvecs is able to read said information you should be able to use it to "do something". Same goes for pretty much any CanBus enabled aftermarket ECU.
Kev.O
Thanks Chris. Just as I thought I just need to add the inputs for the bulbs etc. Paul kindly sent me through a sheet, I just wanted confirmation.
Kev.O
Am I right in saying the auxiliary outputs go to ground when activated? I'm looking at wiring the twin electric fans soon and wondered if it was a switched positive or switched negative.
