LOGIE
Im struggling to find a TT auto loom for my engine. However there are 2 part numbers for the same part what is the difference between them? My engine is a 1994 but i dont know what month, will it matter what part number i use? My engine is still on its way from japan. CanisLupus
For the price they cost new from Toyota(AFAIR) you can get 2-3 of them tailormade. At least that's my last Information regarding the loom
hodge
As far as I'm aware, the engine looms are discontinued.

Kev.O
I'm sure you could make one if your handy with a soldering iron. It's mainly the vsv's that are needed which most single conversion chaps should have. You.can still buy the coil pack clips

CanisLupus
Don't know over there in the UK but in Germany there are places which specialize on making looms for various cars on order. If they don't have the wiring diagrams they can copy them with your loom. Don't have the exact quotes anymore but one place wanted around 300Euro for the Engine Loom alone. CanisLupus
If you find someone who does this you could ask them if they have a diagramm already. The ones i asked over here had them
turbobungle
I was told the other day that supra looms come in several different pieces, is that correct? I have a uk spec manual TT and a few years ago at the 'Ring, I set the coilovers too low and managed to get lots of rubbing through all the compressions, anyway, I ended up melting the inner arch and all the wiring above it so that my loom and arch are now solidified as one! I've always assumed its going to be a major job and havn't had time in my life to sort it. I've now been told the other day that I should only need a small part of the loom that runs from the fuse box through the wheel arch and into the engine bay, does anyone know if this is correct or where I might start looking for the parts? Kev.O
Correct. There is a loom that runs from the drivers side fuse board to the passenger side connection/distribution board via the main fuse box. Which side was burnt out?
turbobungle
Finally found time to check! It's both sides! :-(
