Kaan W
So recently I have been thinking about the old nitrous system for my car, I would like to be around the 700bhp mark but I dont want to go bigger with my turbo as im not a fan of huge lag. I nice system from a member has just come along that im very tempted to buy but would like some info from people with experience on using nitrous with stock internals. Now I know 700bhp is probably a safe limit on stockies but what else do I need to think about changing? I know I have the fuel system to cope with it also I understand it can be run through the syvecs progressivly but is there anything else im missing? I know im gunno here the usuall, why would you want nos etc. but its just a laugh for now and if its safe then why not, powers power right? Dan_Turism0
Precision 6266 is a small frame turbo that has done over 800whp and still have very good spool mate, whifbitz have also just got over 700hp with a S362batmowheel again a 62mm small frame. What turbo are you currently running?

What turbo are you currently running? Im running a gt3582r 68mm. Thats an impressive figure for a 62mm I didnt know you can get that kind of power from such a small turbo. Im afraid any upgrades like that is just out my budget untill next year mate so was looking for a quick fix then at least ive always got that power on top of whatever turbo I do upgrade too in the future. Any idea on the max power my turbo can produce?
Abz
What about the gearbox? It is an aggressive amount of power to put through it, are you having yours built to cope with this?

Yeah I have a Titan box mate with 3800 high stall TC. At some point next year I want to get a built block also.
Abz
Yeah I have a Titan box mate with 3800 high stall TC. At some point next year I want to get a built block also. Okay, sounds good. My biggest worries would have been the gearbox and not having a built engine, 600bhp seems to be the rough benchmark (obviously some have run a lot more). The good thing is you do have a Syvecs ECU which will help massively.

Dan_Turism0
yeah i'd certainly sooner go down the 6266 or even 6466 (spools like a 62mm) route than put nos in for 700bhp, like i say whifbitz have just just got 750hp from a S362 Batmowheel

Kaan W
Cheers guys! But even if I was to get one of these turbos I would still be looking at using nitrous just as its easy power on top of everything else. I'll definately look into bigger turbo`s etc next year but for now the extra power for £ ratio of using nitrous just seems a worth while upgrade imo.
