Westy
Ticket should be for the hotel and eurotunnel, based on what last year was, so looking at the prices on the first post it will be £210 Cheers Adam. I take it you guys will be staying in two different hotels then (or looping back to the same one!?)!?
Guest Budz86
Going back to the same one I think. Using it more of a base for a couple of days
tony tt
Is the £80 return for the euro tunnel per person or is it per vehicle? I'm planning a +1 so just want to clarify.

Branners
To avoid people having to load everything back in to the Supra on the Saturday morning we stay at the same hotel for 2 nights. So it would be £80 return for the Eurotunnel (per car plus up to 5 passengers), then £65 per night for the hotel (£130 in total). So thats what you would be buying in the shop. Plus any additional stickers you wanted over the usual 2 x free oval stickers. If there are 2 people bringing their cars who want to share a hotel room that is also okay, you just buy 2 x eurotunnel and 1 x hotel.

From memory Tony the exact route isn't put up on the forum as such, we get a download file for the TomTom's which gives us the exact full route nearer the time Branner's did put something up recently that he was still fine tuning the route anyway, if last years run was anything to go by the route will be awesome again this year Branner's actually goes through the route on Google Street View to check it for scenic standard and driveability Edited December 29, 2012 by DodgyRog (see edit history)

Branners
I tend not to release the route until the last minute as I keep tweaking it if I find problems. As DodgyRog says, I go through it on streetview to make sure there are no nasty surprises waiting for us, and to try and avoid the toll booths and major junctions where we can get split up. The 2012 route was amazing, until we found a road completely closed off for some local event involving a circus. I just didnt see that one coming!! Currently working on the route down from Calais to Rouen, trying to avoid the toll roads and major towns, while building in a lunch stop around 1pm somewhere interesting and then finding the best route in to south Rouen. Saturday route is completely done, outline Sunday route is done but needs to be checked to make sure it goes where I want it to. So thats why the route isnt published early as it means people end up with a route that was changed at some point and they didnt realise.
