Hotel is now sorted, should be around £65 per night for a double including breakfast although that depends on the exchange rate when I put this on my credit card.

 

Eurotunnel price is £80 return, but struggling to get us all on the same train. They want us on 4 different trains so still working on that bit.

 

Saturday route has been reviewed and just tweaking to give some interesting roads.

How many people/cars can attend? Does it usually sell out or have we got time to make the booking?

We release the tickets in batches so we dont find we have ordered too many Eurotunnel or hotel spaces.

 

This year I have allowed for 45 cars on Eurotunnel, which is about 75 people or so. I think last year we sold out of tickets, but had about 3 people drop out and sell their slots.

 

Im sure there will be enough space for everybody but get in to the first or second batch of tickets to make sure.

Would have been ideal to have the other DB liveried car along and have them as a second sweeper, you cant miss the DB12 liveries. Thought about buying the car for the club for a year and sell it back but its a lot of money for a car that wont go far most of the year.

 

I have a good feeling about DB13, the routes are looking good and the hotel should be fine for what we need.

It does indeed. Its down to £5,800 or something like that now, for a twin turbo aerotop GZ auto....sooo tempted.
