ok so basically we're looking at £200 to cover hotel for both nights and the eurostar.

 

then say another £100 for food/drinks??

 

plus the dreaded fuel?

That sounds about right, including everything last year I think I spent £750, but I did do 100 miles more than needed as some of us got lost :D

To be fair, on the taxi journey home we couldn't even tell the taxi driver the name of the hotel as we were in such a state, walking would have been better :D

 

At least you won't have to worry about me being horrifically hung over and trying not to throw up in your car this time ;)

 

I think I remember giving the taxi driver my hotel key as it had the hotel name on it, he thought his luck was in! Lol

 

We'll have a night out in town even if it kills me, which it very nearly did last year! :D

Rouen town centre is about 20 minutes taxi away, there are some smaller towns about 5 minutes away but I doubt they would have the same level of night time entertainment that Rotterdam gave you.

 

Sounds good to me, just off to google the best lappy bars there, I mean what museums and art galleries they have to offer :innocent:
