That looks amazing mate love it..! What turbo is that? Bet you can't wait to have it all running and mapped!! What power you going for?

An XS Power T61, nothing fancy but should put a smile on my face :D I'm not sure of power figures yet, keeping it nice and low boost until I have a few miles on her then will start upping it. The lowered compression will see me good for 1 bar + touch wood although for the first few weeks I'm keeping it closer to 7psi just to check everything is fine and there's no niggles.

Looks like you got the turbo intake to clear pretty well near the dizzy cap. Any close up pics? :)

I just used a 45 degree 4" bend and removed the clip off the lead from ignitor to disi cap. The pressure from the silicone joiner keeps the lead well in place so can do without the clip :) I'll take some pics tomorrow once the engine bay is clean

And the results from today are? :)

She is alive!!! :D

Had to map at wastegate pressure (7.5psi) as the boost controller was rubbish but it goes like holy f**k! The sound is so, so addictive. I'm over the moon with it, mapped on the road and off boost it is so smooth - just like it was as NA and it starts straight off the key etc. I think the head rebuild I did has helped as the engine sounds silky. Got a few little bits to sort but only tidying up the oil feed and return as they are a bit 'weepy' and I want it perfect.

I will get vids up soon! see you at Trax!!

That's awesome mate!!! Pictures videos etc needed..!! ASAP!

What bhp and tq did it pull at 7.5psi?

Nice work mate sounds like the build has paid off and you've done it properly too! Really glad to hear it's running as expected :)!

Ahhh this is really making me want to get my bodywork/suspension etc sorted to a stage where I'm happy to start a NA-T.. So full of win!

Hey Rich been following up on your thread and have another question. I was wondering do you recommend going 35mm offset front or just lower tyre 235 will work in the front with 20mm offset? Im pretty sure rears 20mm offset with 265 will work with rolled arches but am still debating on the fronts. 35mm is really sunk into the wheel well so 20mm Im leaning toward but do not want to roll the fronts and also is it sitting flush on the arch fender or sticking out? How badly is the rubs front and rear? Thanks for your help once again.

I'm sure you will get away with a tyre on the front such as a 235/40 or 225/40. My front arches are stock as well as me being lowered 40mm and it only catches when I go over potholes or really push the car round a bend. 265's on the rear should clear you rolled arches okay, I'm on 275's and now my rear arches are done it doesn't catch on the back. They're pretty flush fit all round :)

Keen to hear the power at 0.7.... All the questions in regards to power and BHP figures have been overlooked. I don't think people are asking to criticize if that's what you're worried about more of an idea of what they could achieve should they go the same route.
