Mine has a crack in it and is leaking the most miniscule amount of oil but it is a leak none the less. Does anyone have a part number for the housing so I can let Mr T take me to brown town ? mwilkinson Posted October 18, 2012 Share Posted October 18, 2012 It's very easy when coupled with an oil change. Basically it's a single bolt. Drain oil. Undo filter. Disconnect coolant pipes. Undo single large bolt. Remove housing. Replace with new and reattach. Oh and refill oil. Simples!! Chris Wilson Posted October 18, 2012 Share Posted October 18, 2012 I would rate it a 6 or 7 out of 10 for difficulty, if you don't have the luxury of a ramp the water coolant hoses to the housing are a real PITA to unclip and get back on. I use high quality Jubilee clips when I put the hoses back on, and a flexi-driver to tighten them. Getting pliers on the stock spring steel clips, with the engine in the car, is a total nightmare.
