Notts_TT
Is this a decent kit, they say it runs on stock ecu and stock fuelling unto 500 hp. Is this a decent base to start with and add to ? Just thought it'd keep car running and add ecu and fuelling at a later date ? Any info would be awesome.. tkddav3
i have my doubts that stock fuelling will run 500hp, and you'd need a new ecu or atleast a piggy back so you can map it mate, sounds like their telling a few porkies
JasonR24
Iv heard nothing but bad things from supra store as I was interested in their stuff too :-/
johnny g
SupraStore doesn't have the best reputation. It be ok with USDM stuff (i.e. 550cc injectors), but not with JDM (440's). For what that'd cost in shipping, import and VAT, then you'll be better buying a second hand kit already in the UK
Notts_TT
What would I be looking at ish for a second hand kit, everything needed ?

JasonR24
There are a few kits on here ATM but it's not just the kit you need it's fueling ecu etc that you'll need also. So keep that in mind!
hodge
There's no way I'd run a single kit on a stock ECU. Even if the ignition timing map was similar to what's needed for a single, the fueling map will be all over the place. Expect a loud bang. Notts_TT
So if I purchased this kit ? What else we looking at on top of this... http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/toyota-supra-turbo-upgrades-turbo-kits-garage-whifbitz-p-11965.html I have searched a lot but everyone's builds different, are we looking at a ecu and injectors ? Thanks, I'm new to this single lark
hodge
Injectors, fuel pump, ECU and mapping. Bare in mind this is an absolute minimum.
Notts_TT
I'm at full BPU at the moment! What would an ecu, injectors and mapping cost ontop of the kit ? Thanks guys
Notts_TT
Just had a look, syvecs ecu £1500, injectors £600...etc So I'm guessing £7000 min on parts ??? Dan

Supra Kong
Will a Mines ECU do?
Nic
Will a Mines ECU do? No, it'd be even worse than trying to use a stock ECU.
hodge
To my knowledge, there's no-one in the country that maps a mines ECU.

Nic
How is that? The Mines ECU is mapped to get more performance out of the stock sequential turbos, to achieve this the fueling is trimmed and the timing advanced.

johnny g
You can get away with stock - but after 550bhp, they'll hold back. I'd get some SRD stage 1's
