Kev.O
Can anyone tell me what this part is please? It's located on the drivers side above the fuse board and bolted to the metal work of the car. It connects to the white 16 way connector on the passengers footwell. I have tried looking through the manuals and using the search function, but it's difficult trying to search for something you don't know the name of :

Porky1978
Is there a part number on it?
TheTurtleshead
Kickdown switch/throttle pedal stop. Should be bolted to the floor below the throttle pedal. Is your car an auto to manual conversion?
Littler
As James says it looks like the kick down switch
Kev.O
I'll have a look for a part number tonight. I'm working on a wiring loom for a friend, though I believe it might have been an auto. A kick down would made sense. I was thinking it bolted to the side fo the car as it's about 300mm from the drivers fuseboard. It's wired to the passengers connectors, a white block, on the left hand side of the group of connectors. All the other wires leading to this connector block have been removed, wich made tracking it down that little bit harder.
SteveR
Looks the same as the kickdown switch I took out of a GS300. It sits directly in the path of the throttle pedal, for obvious reasons.
Supra Gaz
Its a kick down switch, I still have mine from my auto to manual swap.
Kev.O
Perfect, thanks chaps. I didn't think I recognised it. There is no part number on the switch that I can see.
