Noz
I sold my boost gauge as I wanted something more useful. I was going to install a AEM `Tru Boost` digital controller, but now I'm going standalone I will use a solenoid. So have a spare hole I want to fill with something as useful as possible. Does anyone use air intake temp sensors apart from the usual ECU add-on's that are only viewed through datalogging. I'm struggling to find any decent branded makes! Chris Wilson
I always run one on turbo race or track day cars, but I use a none permanently mounted one with recall that reads pre and post IC temps. Always good to know what the IAT is. On the Skyline the Motec logs the data from the IAT sensor and displays it against time and distance and all the other parameters. Can even overlay it on a video. Noz
That looks awesome mate! I was hoping to get pre IC and just before the TB. There is a gauge on ebay giving dual inputs.
johnny g
I really like the look of that Race Render. Can you pull the logs for that direct from an OBD2 source, Chris?
Chris Wilson
No, it's off the ECU log. Most high end ecu's or loggers will give a suitable output. A stock ECU won't though
