safcdixon
Well guys after my pretty shoddy atempt at painting my car last time and not doing really what i wanted last time due to rushing things, I am giving it another go but this time going from veilside kitted to stock "Usa stlye" im looking for a nicley stanced, wide wheeled and clean look, In ANTHRACITE 1A1 Ive been looking alot on supraforums lately and love the styling those guys have in the US, so im going to try and replicate what they are doing in the states. This is how it looked before i started this time So firstly removing the veilside skirts and spats, which was a total knightmare the spats actually came off in about 100 pieces as the previous owner had fixed them on using bathroom sealent!!!! the skirts came off farely well considering they were blended into the front and rear arches. Last year i bought a bunch of parts off ebay mainly for the active spoiler but with spoiler came loads of other useful stuff, i got a a full set of stock pods and plastic garnish parts aswell as a stock spoiler which will all be fitted replacing the veilside skirts and spats and Trd wing. (my trd wing will be getting repaired and primed then forsale, i think ) Ive fitted them too the car too get an idea of the stock look with my sideexit exhaust, current wheels and ride height. one thing im happy about is not having too cut the sidepods too house the exhaust Edited July 13, 2014 by safcdixon Embedded pics (see edit history)

safcdixon
The strip down, this time im removing everything, doors, windows (excluding front screen) doors, bootlid and wings, i will be painting the engine bay this time too as its still grenn from last time it was painted and aswell as painting the bay i will be cleaning the engine bay up a little like moving the battary, washer bottle etc into the boot for a little bit of a cleaner look, ive started stripping the car, still have a way to go yet but you get the idea Ive also while i was on stripping the car apart removed the aircon system as ive never used it in the 2 !/2 years ive owned the car, but now i have a little fan on all the time does anyone know how to stop this? and also would it be better to remove the ac pump or is it ok just too block the holes? Btw to anyone that hasnt had their rad of aircon cooler off when removing my aircon cooler i had half a tree's worth of leaves blocking flow too the rad (unfortunatly didnt get a picture) which cant be good for temps also my rad is knackared alot of the fins have crumbled due too the leaves and other debrie lying inbetween the two rads worth checking if your having engine temp problems Edited March 27, 2013 by Littler Embedded pics (see edit history)

The wheels will be more of a mesh/dish wheel but that decision will be made once the body is done so i dont make a mistake on the colour of the wheel
