Underbody treatment for uk Supras

Has anyone had their supra underbody treated in the north west (Manchester) something like waxoil or similar treatment. Which do you think is the best for a uk supra. Not just opinions but who has had it done and can recommend or not recomend a process and company. I believe its a pretty shitty job to do.

Dynax S-50 for the rails and cavities, Something like gravitex or 3m stoneguard. That'll be the best combo.

The dynax is way better than Waxoil.

 

Not sure about a company to do it but maybe Jurgen at JM Imports can help. He underseals his fresh imports as soon as they hit the country.

I got under my car with wire brushes and cleaned everything down. I then washed the underside, waited for it to dry then used compressed air to blow anything else off. Then coated everything using waxyol and a brush to get it on nice and thick. Im going to do the inner arches with a spray version for a better finish as this may be more visible. Waxyol is fantastic stuff, once you've used it too it is bomb proof, great product.

Schults is the better than Waxyol

 

Clean off all surface rust, you can get chemicals to neutralise it.

 

Then use schultz underseal, takes about 24 hours for it to Cure after application, once cured it is like a rubber sealant

 

Dont use any stone chip to underseal as it is prone to cracking

 

You can also use Billet hammer cavity wax to do inside the sills from the inside, lift back the carpet to get access (Dynax S-50)

 

Use Zinc on Metal componets (suspenion arms); you are galvanising the metal components with the Zinc Spray (3M™ Zinc Spray 16-501 )

There was a thread on this and I though Dinitrol was the best stuff to use.

 

Found it, Chris Wilson knows his stuff so this is what I am having done next year.

I heard Dinitrol is good stuff , just Waxyol I think is the one to steer clear of. Was told durability of Waxyol is not long, I used it myself on one or two small area's just to test it out. I found any heat will cause it to return to its liquid form, if it is raining out good bye Waxyol.

 

I enen tried it opn the inner sill on the door below the hinges, I found I had to reapply it on a regular basis ; so far so good with Schultz (3-4 months after application)

 

I used Schultz because it is what the Classic car restoration company I used to seal the car recommended
