3" exhaust splits into 2x 2" flow rate

No, it's the 2 x 2" sections that's the most restrictive.

 

The 2 x 2" sections combined have a sectional area of 6.28 square inches, whereas the single 3" section has a sectional area of 7.07 square inches - around a 12.6% increase.

Was this asked in reference to the exhaust i had made? Just wondering :D

 

did you get one made? is this what you was after my stock exhaust for? i asked this question to see weather i could get the stock exhaust to be useable to get my car back on the race track.

Yer i'm really pleased with it :-) It was £150 all in so a pretty good price. It is ever so slightly larger than the original toyota one. But the shape of the y section is smoother

and the path the pipes follow have been shortened to reduce the distance to the backbox. Sounds fab.

 

Does that mean your backbox may not be for sale? :rolleyes:

well if i cant sell it then i wanted to do something with it but by the looks of it im failing already so its back to the drawing book

 

even if you wanted just the back box its still big and heavy lol

It is but i know that parcel2go will send a parcel that size up to 15kg pretty cheaply?
