skyline1
Welcome along, dont understand why you say you bought the wrong car....its a Supra aint it?? cant be wrong! If you mean your lacking the power then you should of looked through the F & Q's section and done some research on what you was buying.... other thing is ho much did you pay....another words you would be paying around 5K for a resonable TT supra so what did you shell out?. Guest nitro321
Hiya mplavery I'm going to a speed test tommrow evening on the way to Newton Abbot I think the road to my destination is long enough for me to reach the cars top speed. I read that and I quote "Some J-Spec cars have had dodgy UK conversions; the speed limiter may still be in place (which limits you to 112mph" from The mkiv Supra Owners Club - Guide to the Supra.pdf. My speedometer reads up to 180 Which I presume is in kilometeres as its a J-Spec supra, so is it a fore gone conclusion that my J-Spec has a speed limiter on it? Some have a speed converter, so it reads mph instead, on the JSpec clocks iirc. Or it could have a 180mph speedo facia on it.

Max Headroom
I think you will find the top speed is about 112mph. Do you need to go any faster. Its not speed you need, its acceleration!
Graham1984
This is one of the slowest threads ever seen, conclusion projections are around 2015-2020 reasons being faulty plugs, needs a service... diagnosis another crap NA
