Noticed something tonight, I no longer get the beep sound when the car is reverse. Going to source another autobox ecu and try that. If not will swap the whole autobox out. Drained some fluid out and its a very dark red. problem is if i have knackered the box don't want to replace the oil if its going to be a waste of time.

Yup, the right hand one is the main engine ECU and if it said 2JZ-GE I'd be worried but 2JZ-GT is fine, it's the turbo one.

 

If swapping out ECUs don't work you might have to go down the tedious route of checking the signals/resistances on each sensor wire at the ECU, see what it's seeing. Or just swap the autobox for a known good one as it's probably less trouble :D
