Guest A-class
Hey guys, I have two non-turbo auto Supra's. Both J-spec. Last week I was running the '93 one on the highway when 3 beeps were heard with a pause. 3 beeps again... And again. Then I noticed the indicator for low-oil-level was up. Stopped the engine immediately and pulled over. Waited a couple of minutes and checked oil level. Oil was just touching bottom of dipstick. To my own surprise I forgot to bring oil and drove low RPM to nearest gasstation. Never saw the oil-pressure light lit up; so I guess it was all good. Put in 1,5 liters of oil in and checked level: 80% of marked dipstick. All in all; nothing bad happened. Drove away from gasstation and heard the 3-beep once more after a minute and never heard it before. Today I was driving the '95 one. After about 200km highway, I drove in the residential zone and heard the 3 beep for 3 times in about 1km... There was no warning light for anything... I have checked the diagnostics and there was nothing on the check-engine (blink-pause-etc), but the o/d light was blinking continually... I have reset the ECU (pulling EFI fuse) and will drive it now for 5 minutes, shut off 1 minute and drive back the 5 minutes to make sure there's a repetitive failure (if there's any)... The "check-brake-lights" stays on. It did that already and really did my best to find out what is wrong with the brake-light-check (even swapped bulbs and the Lamp Failure Sensor with the '93 and it didn't do anything. Everything is fine untill I press the brakes -> light comes up. Also the triangle in the center of the tach stays on and I can not find out how to fix that. The '95 has no ABS or airbags. I hope somebody can help me out. Best, Sam
Guest A-class
Just took the car out for a spin; nothing special ... Apart from big triangle and brake light-light...
Guest A-class
After a lot of internet searching I found out that the active front-spoiler might have something to do with it. So I bridged 3 and 4 and the warning-light was gone! Still don't have a solution for the taillight-check-light Yesterday when I almost arrived at home, the big triangle was lit again, shut down the engine and restarted: gone. Sped up to 80mph; nothing happened... I can not find out what the conditions are for the triangle to come on... Does anybody know that?
