HP limit of these parts?

Ive been thinking of getting the car mapped soon and having the boost turned up a bit but am wondering what my fuel system is capable of. I have a bosch 400 pump with 1000cc injectors and am running a gt35r82 turbo. Can this turbo and fuel system get close to the 700bhp mark if the boost was to be turned right up? Im not keen on going bigger with the turbo as I like the power coming on early but im sure I can run more than the current 1.6bar right?I know theres a lot of variables but has this been done with bigger cams etc? Cheers :)

Check on oil cooler and fmic bud

injectors are okay, pump should be okay, turbo should be okay.you will need 264 cams for sure as a minimum

Things to note are the more boost you put in the hoter the intake temps will get as the air is getting compressed more, and will shorten the life of the turbo for sure

If using a manual, 700bhp is nearly 600rwhp. The GT35R is too small to make that hp level on pump gas. You could get 500+rwhp, but you would need big cams and possibly a ported head as well. The 1000cc injectors are good for 850hp. I don't think the Bosch 040 will be able to flow enough fuel for 600rwhp (but is fine if staying with the GT35R), but the Bosch 044 can flow 600rwhp of fuel.

I disagree, my Supra made, 778hp at the hubs with a Single Bosch 044 pump before the pump maxed out.

I didn't mean that was the max you could get from a Bosch 044, but just that it can flow enough for 600rwhp whereas the Bosch 040 cannot. :) The Bosch 044 however is generally rated at around 700hp based on advertisements. Here is a flow test for the Bosch 044.

It also depends on what dynos we are talking about as my hp and rwhp figures are relevant to a Dyno Dynamics dyno and other dynos such as some hub dynos give much higher power figures and it also depends on the A/F ratio you are getting at max pump flow. See my dyno comparison calculator: http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/dyno.htm . For example, a Dynapack of 778rwhp will be around 648rwhp on a Dyno Dynamics.

Sorry guys ive just noticed I typed it wrong, I have a bosch 440 not 400...

Also im not looking at spending any more money on performance parts just I yet was just after a rough estimate on what I can safley tune my existing parts too. I think it was mapped to 1.6bar before as a safe limit on the stock autobox but as I have a built box on its way I thought I could get more.

Any ideas what hp I can safely reach? Can the gt35 run 2bar without problems?

According to the flow map you could reach 650bhp or perhaps even a bit more at 2bar. This is dependent on your engine being able to easily flow that much air.

BTW, there is no such pump as a Bosch 440 (or 400) so I presume you have a Bosch 044, which is more then sufficient for your needs. :)

Yeah sorry a 044 :) Well at least I know the fuel system is up to it so i'll see what this turbo can safely max out before I start thinking about upgrading anything.
