scott87
Basically i would like to know who can and how much it would cost to make: An exhaust pipe that goes from my second decat and then connects to the standard backbox. Either by splitting into a y shape or two pipes just before the backbox, or by using a blanking plate on one backbox side and using a single pipe. BK1
I had a full stainless system, custom made, lifetime warranty from MIJ near Birmingham. Great service and they can make whatever you want :-)
Josh42
MIJ are very over priced, I use a company called Ashley exhausts, just round the corner from MIJ but cheaper and quality is excellent with lifetime guarantee!

scott87
What are peoples opinions on having an exhaust made from mild steel rather than ss?!

scott87
Not heard of longlife before. I assume you dont get lifetime guarantees on mild steel like you do with ss.
scott87
Have had an exhaust custom made today. Really chuffed with the results and glad i didnt go for the usual. Pics and that can be found in my project thread here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?276741-Project-N-A-First-Supra
Fizzy T
I have a LongLife Stainless Steel cat back on my Proton Coupe and it's the best exhaust I've ever bought. I know it's not a Supra exhaust but I thought custom made to a larger diameter than they usually use and it only cost £350. Obviously it depends on the welder but the guy who did mine looked like he would create pigeon crap and created perfection lol
