scott87
Ive just bought a 2nd decat, waiting for it to be delivered today. What do you do with the exhaust temp sensor, do you just bridge this or should there be aplace to install it on the decat. Bought one of the ebay specials at £
tooquicktostop
No point putting an EGT in the 2nd decat
mellonman
you can just cable tie the sensor out the way i unplugged mine and car run fine and just put a grommet in the hole in the floor (if you are talking about the stock cat temp sensor)
scott87
Cool i was a tad confused with what to do with it. What does it do exactly. Is it best disconnecting it entirely, bridging it or just tiying out the way but leaving sensor and all connected?

Chris Wilson
It should be left connected and tied up out of harms way. I drill the flange on the chassis leg with a 2.5 mm hole and tie wrap or wire it up neatly to the leg.

As Mr Wilson says, leave it connected and zip tie it up out of harms way.
