Brazil
Gents, Which turbo kit would you choose for a power goal of 700bhp if you had to choose between HKS T04Z or Paul W. TW gate with BW S362 Batmowheel?
Rob_Mitchell
S362! buy my kit mate as i might be changing , I dont have the batmowheel but with a twin gate manifold the spool is instant, by far the quickest spooling setup i have seen. Twin screamers too sounds like a jet roaring past. Both turbos you have suggested sound awesome. j_jza80
Go for the Whifbitz kit, the HKS kit is ancient in comparison! And you're supporting local companies
Dan_Turism0
BWS362 or possibly S366 imo, besides you can't beat the whistle of a BW turbo only other turbo i'd look is the new Precision 6266 that is making real good power Edited October 8, 2012 by Dan_Turism0 (see edit history)
Jamesy
The T04Z is one of the fastest spooling, agressive turbos out there and even though it may be old, it was WELL ahead of its time. Depends what you wants - if its ZERO lag, incredible boost in an instant, aggressive acceleration then the T04Z is for you
magictorch
Probably the S362 kit but..... Just an excuse to a put a vid of the Do Luck up really:d

Chris Bailey
Both great kits from what I hear Both produce amazing results! But I've always liked the sound of the T04Z on boost so that wins it for me

JamieP
Both very nice kits, Dont be fooled into thinking the HKS is old hat, they are still superb, check this thread, the HKS manifold kicks the crap out of the full race twin wastegate manifold http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?672553-Hks-full-race-t4-exhaust-manifold-test-results Lee P has a HKS turbo kit with no turbo i know he is looking to flog. Brazil
The HKS kit has a screamer re circulated into the down-pipe, I would really like to have the sound of the screamer pipe! would that be an easy modification or recomended? Jellybean
HKS and a Precison turbo T67 CEA but if it just between full race and HKS T04Z I would go HKS! Just because somebody engineered something recently doesnt make it better! HKS did it over a decade back ! In the Words of RyanG "Precision T67cea FTW! No other turbo suits a 2jzgte better" http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=474947329216311&set=a.213344722043241.55910.210633775647669&type=1&theater http://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/543163_474947329216311_261219884_n.jpg Edited October 9, 2012 by Jellybean (see edit history)
Wez
That graph does look spot on What other mods to get that, ie cams, stock or built engine?
Sukhy
I was really considering a T67 after seeing it strapped to Jamie's car at 550 and 630hp. The way it delivers boost through the rev range is exactly what I want for a fast road/track car. I've then since seen the new batmowheel borg warners setup's which has also got me interested.. Decisions decisions..

Nic
The HKS T04Z kit is very good quality and includes absolutely everything you need for the conversion down to the last nut, bolt, etc. It would be easy to blank off the flange on the down pipe, it may also be possible to use the connector pipe (the short one on the rhs of pic with the flexy section) in the kit and just turn it around on the V-band flange to act as a screamer pipe. This would give you the option of reconnecting it at a later date if you got tired of the noise. http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/7352/11003at001qq9.jpg
scoooby slayer
defo get a screamer pipe, my supra on hks t51r spl was vented back into exhaust and was super quiet by comparison to my new car an r33 gtr running a garrett gt4094r with a single screamer pipe sounds awesome on boost, then nice and quiet when cruising off boost i love it.
