AlexM
I have mine running TTC with Syvecs, feels lovely. I would offer to take you out but I don't currently have a passenger seat fitted - you'd need to sit on the floor!
Sheefa
I found the TTC with Syvecs and stage ones felt like you were always pushing the set up to the limit and it always drove like it was at the limit of what it could do, it was quick enough but not as enjoyable as a small single Both the traction and launch control are excellent I have to say Understand this Dean, yet no harm in getting the ECU and fuelling done now for future proofing. Plus i have heard glowing reports regarding the Traction Control and when you consider RLTC is certainly the best part of £600-£700 installed as SH it's not too bad. I'll be pushing my Hybrids at 1.3 Bar with the PE650's. I have mine running TTC with Syvecs, feels lovely. Thanks mate - floor is fine Edited November 13, 2012 by Sheefa (see edit history)
Sheefa
So are there any Syvecs ECU'd 2JZ-GTE engines running in stock sequential mode with the Syvecs doing all the engine control functions, with the stock ecu deleted? What did Ryan say? I've never seen one. I do have a friend with a manual VVTi TT running a Motec with the Motec controlling everything including the sequential stuff, but I have never seen this on a Syvecs. I have no doubt at all that it's perfectly possible. Ryan didn't say it was a hard job at all when I spoke with him, in fact it's still a real possibility. However, he did advise that losing the circa 50lb of torque low down in favour of TTC mode where both turbos come online at 3,500rpm is a better route to take. I'm still favouring sequential though as I love that 2nd turbo thrill.
