Sheefa
Been a while. Looking to get one for when I pick up the Supra alongside Racelogic TC. Is the AEM one still one of the best and most reliable in the market? Any decent alternatives? Thanks Greg
Yakky
This is quite a question. Have you googled around for all the different gauges and seen what others are saying? It's worth doing first. A part answer to your question is that the reliability that they don't produce error codes - then yes AEM is a good example and uses the older Bosch sensor. Choose the placement of the sensor well, and you'll want to log the AFR's as the raw output on the gauge is rapid. Smoothing is not an option, it must be done. scoooby slayer
ive run 1 3" behind the turbo and it kept cooking it, ive now got aem afr gauges in my r32 gtr and my r33 gtr both in the decat pipes and they work perfectly and the sensors dont overheat. great gauges they read within 0.2 and they have saved me 2 engines now from lean failure 1 2jz and 1 rb26 engine saved well worth the money i wouldnt be without one on a tuned turbo car.
