Guest Kaz123
From what I understand ( as Im building a vvti motor as well ) the aem unit will not properly control the vvti system on a supra. I know you can get it to function but to function cleanly you will need the vvti ecu. I spoke with an aem rep and wanted to use the ems as my standalone for dbw and vvti and fuel. He told me fuel would work great but the vvti and dbw system would not be seamless. He recommended a piggy back for the fuel and to use the ecu for the vvti and dbw. Hope this helps
