scott87
I stumbled across these on ebay and was just wondering if anyone had experience with them or not>? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140490376813?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_866wt_956
Josh42
I have this exhaust on my NA. It's awesome. I brought it second hand from someone on here but it was practically new, sounds awesome on WOT, and not too loud on idle, with the odd burble and pop on down changes... pbryant_knight
Yep, i just got one 3 weeks ago along with a second decat pipe from ebay and it is excellent. well worth the money and just as good as some of the more expensive ones. scott87
Do you happen to have a video at all? Are the quality of the welds as good as they look in the pics? And did you have any trouble with fitting?
Josh42
Welds are good, and I had no problems with fitting at all, I'm really happy with it. I had a 3" HKS exhaust on prior to this and I much prefer the sound of this one!
Josh42
No videos unfortunately!
scott87
Brill thanks for the replies :-) Did you buy one of the cheaper de cats on ebay too? Im trying to weigh up just removing both decats and keeping everything else standard or keep the first cat and change everything back... pbryant_knight
Same here, the quality is awesome. Makes you wonder how other companies charge so much. Its just stainless steel pipe, lets be honest. There is a video of someone elses in a different thread but i can't seem to find it. I'm sure someone will be along soon to direct you to it This is the decat pipe i got from ebay (it's supposed to be £89 but the guy has obvbiously put the decimal point in the wrong place when re-listing it.) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320817137381?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 Peter
scott87
And they are ok for a non turbo? The listing says turbo... Im quite tempted by this. Do you happen to know if that decat can be used with the standard exhaust?
abtin90
I have the same exhaust on my NA-T and am very happy with it, great value for money. the exhaust listed will for both an NA and TT. Hope this helps

scott87
Am i right in thinking that this system will remove the cat, both silencers and the backbox and connect to the 1st cat?
hodge
I bought an exhaust for my 350z and also fitted a couple to Supras. There a nice bit of kit. Very well made too.
mattdavies
No this is just a 2nd cat back system.
scott87
No this is just a 2nd cat back system. Yes sorry i meant keeps the 1st cat, but then replaces everything from just after this back. scott87
Ah ok thanks. I was trying to work out how it would fit, the extra pipe with it looks very similar to the decats on ebay too.
scott87
So i would need this exhaust: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140490376813?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_866wt_956 And then a decat pipe too, i assume the decat would need to be 3" to match the exhaust pipe? So this one would be no good: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-SUPRA-MK4-JZA80-STAINLESS-STEEL-EXHAUST-2ND-DECAT-DOWNPIPE-PIPE-1992-2002-/320817137381?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4ab23106e5#ht_485wt_1328

scott87
got near enough the same setup on mine here's a couple of vids http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_sF3ySa1fE Is that with or without the 2nd cat?
Dan_Turism0
both cats still in, but i've now removed the 2nd cat and it is pretty loud on WOT and when it gets warm i will be honest but it doesn't drone and isn't uncomfortable in the cabin
scott87
Ok thanks. As long as its not too loud in the cabin at motorway speeds then i think ill look into getting one...
