Hi all.

I had the nod from Paul at Whifbitz last night to say that work is due to start on my car on Friday (28th Sep), so this thread is here for any and all pictures charting the progress to be displayed proudly!

I for one am very excited - due to my own new work schedule I had to drop the car off three weeks ago so of course I'm already itching to get her back and flex my right foot to see what's what! :eyebrows:

So... Let's have it! :D

We started yesterday with the fitment for the new Walbro 450LPH fuel pump kit, how nice is this, tiny in comparison to a Bosch044, so lighter and much easier to install. Its also quieter and produces alot more flow, this is suppose to be the highest flowing fuel pump on the market today, superb. Details here http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/mazda-fuel-components-walbro-p-15077.html

Sorry for the off topic talk on your build thread but I was looking to replace my Bosch 044 setup with a Walbro 400 pump. I looked at the Walbro website and was under the impression the only difference between the 400 and 450 was the ability to use E85 fuel? They both flow the same Lph at the base 12v and elevated 13.5v?

It's the B362 twin-wastegate turbo kit with a turbosmart BOV. Other than that: Syvecs S6 ECU; larger FMIC; alloy fuel rail with 1000cc injectors, adjustable FPR and the 450lph pump mentioned above; all topped off with a DASH2 digital dash and a whole heap if polishing! :)

I'm sure Paul will be able to give a more definitive answer and of course we won't know until Ryan works his magic with the mapping, but somewhere between 600-700bhp is the goal. :eyebrows:

To be honest it's all about the power delivery and drive-ability rather than dyno numbers though.
