tt conversion

NOODLE

Recommended Posts

right can some one tell me what is involved in a tt conversion from Na is it just a head swap or is it the whole engine? i have tried looking into it on here with no luck, im probably being blind but i couldn't see anything lol

so far ive looked at the na-t swap prices as well. as ive been given a better price on a tt conversion id prefer to go for that, but like i said id like to know more about it :-)

Its a complete engine swap for NA to NA-TT along with the supporting parts

required to run the TT, if you go NA-T then you just slap a single turbo

on your NA with a few other bits and bobs along with it needing mapping

etc, pretty much the same as slapping a single on a TT but doing it

on a stock NA engine restricts you to what boost you can run.

You might need to swap the gearbox as well

Buy a TT and sell the NA is my advice

If you ever want to run 600+ hp go TT otherwise you would spend a lot of money on an NA engine and won't be as reliable,

Ok i think 600hp is abit mad for me atm the mo, would be awesome tho.

Whats the standard gear box rated to on the sz? Its a 5speed manual.

The search function is your friend mate :)

Approx BPU levels, so around 400ish give or take would be as far as I'd push the 5 speed.
