N/A Slave Cylinder on TT6 for RPS Street Max?

My slave cylinder died at the weekend and I lost the clutch pedal. It's a TT6 with an RPS Street Max installed a couple of years ago.

Last time I had the car mapped it was suggested that I get the slave cylinder replaced with one from an N/A supra as he noticed that the clutch wasn't fully disengaging making gear changes not as easy as they could be. Apparently the N/A slave cylinder has more travel on it.

Just wanted to post this here to see if anyone has done this on their car and did it make a difference?
