CardiffSupra Posted August 11, 2005 Share Posted August 11, 2005 Any advice or tips selling my car!? been trying to sell my 2001 vvtl-i celica190 for a dirt price of £8000! really frustrating me now as iv been trying to sell it for about 3-4 months! dont know where im going wrong, its in very good condition, mot tax, fsh, cant find a cheaper 190 for this price anywhere yet still nothing! People prefer not to buy modified cars. Don't say how quick it is in the advert, they might get the impression it's been thrashed. I wouldn't emphasize how much better the 190 is compared to the 140. The latter particularly so as it gives the impression to me that you're trying to over emphasise the good points of the car and that always rings alarm bells with me. The ad sounds a bit 'chav' Need to read more like : 2001 TOYOTA CELICA 1.8 VVTi 190 3dr Coupe, 6 speed, petrol, 63,000 miles, Mot and Tax, Aircon, Full Leather. High spec Celica 190 VVTL-i in excellent condition with 1 previous lady owner. Not to be confused with the lower spec 140 model. Pictures do not do this car justice, this car has obviously pampered throughout its life. Best Celica 190 out there for this price at only £8,000. Might wan't to mention if it's a UK car?
