arne
I'm still looking for a new clutch (my triple plate makes that anoying "scratching" sound when I press the clutchpedal). I own a TT BPU (+-400hp, I don't know how many torque). Can this one handle the power and is it a trustable clutch that doesn't make any noises? http://www.funkypower.co.uk/catalogue.php?make=TOYOTA - LEXUS&model=SUPRA&year=93-01+SUPRA&level1=TRANSMISSION+%26+DRIVETRAIN&level2=CLUTCH+KITS&level3=PERFORMANCE+SPEC&man= Which one should I buy? a98pmalcolm
I have been told by an ACT dealer not to go for an ACT clutch. Thats all I will say..
arne
thx for telling me... Is there anybody who has a single plate that can handle +400hp (for many years!) and doesn't make any noises?
mwilkinson
A stock clutch will hold 400 bhp. Mine was running 410 bhp approx for years without issue on a stock 6 spd clutch.
