Rattling o/s/r

Hi everyone got a annoying rattle from rear wheel when i hit a pothole. Had droplinks replaced wheel bearing replaced and still got rattle and a sound like somethings catching intermittently under the car but when i jack the car up and spin the wheel it doesnt make the scrapping noise. Its a N/A Auto and any ideas as to what it might be would be most helpful

Have you checked your exhaust and mounts/heat shields?

Yep checked exhaust heat shields and mountings and everything fine there, checked the brake back plate thingy and that not catching either

When you jacked it up, did you check all suspension arms? Using a bar or stout screwdriver to lever them and check for play?

Not tried that yet mate but have replaced some bushes and the upper wishbone been replaced, it not anything to do with a drive shaft is it?

I wouldn't have thought so as that would be more clunking when moving off but check the bolts anyway while you're under the car

 

Are your tailgate rubbers OK?

Double check your brakes too in case you have a spring missing or the caliper is loose (or if the slider pins are worn)

Will check brakes mates and tailgate rubbers are ok, thanks for your help will let you know when i find it

Check the topmount bushes, and the spring isolator at the top.

Also I've got lots of little stones trapped behind the fuel tank guard, thay cause a bit of racket when going over bumps. I havn't had a chance yet but I'm going to strip it and powder coat it.
