What tyres on your GS sport rims?

As per the title, got some tasty GS sport rims from mr Johnny G fitted with Michelin Pilot sports 265/40 on the rear, I seem to have arch clearance problems on my Soarer.

Are you running 255s for a bit of stretch? 35 profile? Is it just the design of the Michelins?

*Edit* Arch rolling is not an option.

From memory I think I've got...

8" fronts: 245/40/18 (Pirelli P Zero Rossos as they scream long before they let go which helps find the grip levels - and are very progressive at/beyond the limit)

10" rears: 285/35/18 (Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 - great grip and progressive enough at the limit)

Withs are right, I might need to check those profiles as I'm only sureish I've got them right.

265/40-18 are a little larger diameter (15mm) than the stock 225/55-16, and the GS wheels are ET45 (or is it 40 on the rear?) rather than ET50. Small differences, but they may add up.

265/35-18 would be a little smaller than standard (11mm).

265/40-17 (10mm smaller than std) Hankooks on ET50 Supra wheels seem to be OK on mine (not that it helps you much :)).

That's what I thought, next question is what tyres lol. Steve its got 265s fitted now so a 255 wouldn't be that much of a stretch

I'm just about to look on my car and see what the sidewall profile looks like, i'll post up

when i know, i'll pop some photo's up if i get chance
