Ian C
The inlet is tricky when it comes to seperating the throttle body from the manifold, and I also didn't take the cold start system off so just wired the manifold out the way while I swapped the injectors The turbo piping comes off in about two hours once you know what you are doing, the arsehole bit is removing the actual turbos, I don't ever want to have to do that again! I haven't done the crank pulley yet but that job is looming (nice unorthodox racing one to go on...), any hints and tips? Yeah, it's nice to see people have a stab at it, I mucked in with mine mainly for financial reasons, heh. If you are sticking in UK 550's, are you putting in a resistor pack of some sort...? -Ian
dude
Ian the crank pulley is not too bad , i got mine off useing 2 large prybars and walked it off but it would be easy to make a puller using some thick iron bar with 2 holes drilled , undo the crank nut and use that to pull the bottom pulley off (as a lever ) the pulley has 2 holes either side that if you use to pull the bar onto the undun ? crank bolt will pull the pulley off (thats confusing isint it) im gonna fit a new resistor pack off a uk car , Ian can you look at my latest requests for help please.
