Replacing jspec to UK brake set up

ADD

Recommended Posts

Uk spec supras have 17"s fitted as stock ;) I have 19s and they still catch it all depends on the offset and wheel design, Luckily i had some spacers lying about

Yep, I have 18's as well and I don't think they will fit so I am getting some stock 17's until I find the wheels I want.

ok matey brilliant thank you. Regarding the size of wheels i suppose ill ust have to fit the brakes then see! although there is allot of space there at the moment with the jspec brakes on.

I'd fit some braided lines and replace all the old fluid, Motul RBF600

Copper slip.

Vacuum bleeder makes it a simple one man job

Ok just picked UK brakes up, I just wanna double check they are an identical swap for jspec (apart from

Being bigger) ??

A garage is fitting them for me for £150 and are aware that the shield will need to be cut back.

Thanks for any info

Yes straight swap but as you say the heat shield will need trimming. removing or replacing with the larger one.

In terms of parts you'll need

Front/Rear

2 x Brake calipers

2 x Brake discs

Brake pad set

Brake pad fitting kit

Anti squeal shim kit - most don't bother with these or only fit on the front.
