Pudsey
Good Evening all, I have spent some time having a good search about on the club site, but haven't been able to find the information I am looking for. Does anyone know what this box is for under the drivers seat? I have borrowed the picture, but it shows the box perfectly. Cheers

Stevo
Amplifier for the aerial mate. Is there not a co-axial input on the front too?
hodge
My money is on OEM alarm. There should be another box under the carpet too iirc.
Pudsey
O.E. alarm. I guess it could be. Amplifier for the aerial mate. Is there not a co-axial input on the front too? I hope that it is something to do with the aerial, but mine was retro fitted and not part of the original loom strangely. My money is on OEM alarm. There should be another box under the carpet too iirc. Yeah maybe as Dave P has suggested. As mine looked retro fitted using nasty red chocolate blocks, I decided to remove it when recently installing a new stereo. It doesn't seem to have caused any issues, but it would be nice to know for sure what it actually is/ does. My fingers are crossed on the aerial suggestion, however there was no co-axial input anywhere on the box housing. I will check through the manual again, and see if I can find it in there somewhere. Thanks all.
David P
If I didn't know that it was the O.E. alarm I wouldn't have told you that it was.

Sorry Dave, I thought your reply was a suggestion. I better have a look at the 'Security' section of the manual then. Many Thanks
