barneybrendan
Ive got a 1999 mercedes v220 cdi.Its been driving nice for the last month that ive had it,but last night it started juddering.Ive checked today and gearbox oil is leaking out from between the box and the engine.Low oil is the cause of the juddering i expect but where would the oil be coming from. Hopeing that somebody on here has experience with these v classes.
R Black
Hi Brendan, is it an auto transmission? My other half has the same but not had this issue, I don't think there are dipsticks on w203 mercs anymore, but I wouldn't drive it with low oil, id get it checked at an indie Try MBclub.co.Uk for answers. spider2123
There is an electrical connection on the box that makes it leak Oil- sometimes the connector casing cracks but In my case I just replaced the two o-ring and it was fine. Any Merc forum , common fault
