listy
I have found recently that the plastic cover that goes over the space saver and acts as the boot floor is rather pathetic. Mine always seems to slip and lower itself as soon as anything with slight weight is put on it. I'm thinking of doing away with this and the foam pods for the tool kit, (as I dont have it) and making some sort of custom floor for the boot, and covering it in hard wearing carpet, with boxes for tools etc and hinged lids for them, that sit where the foam pods would have. Was wondering if anyone has previously done anything like this? If so, what did you use, and how did you do it? I'm thinking 12mm MDF, and effectively using the boot carpet as a stencil to get the correct shape.
MannDuo
I was thinking of this exact same thing last week when I was cleaning up the boot carpet! So I am also wanting to know what other people have done!

listy
This is what I'm thinking. Going to see if I can incorporate a hidden tool box in it too. And a hideaway for my amp, and maybe build a new boot install that incorporates into it. We shall see what I come up with
