matthewswinimer Posted September 2, 2012 Share Posted September 2, 2012 hi there iam wondering what neg effects would happen if i cut the pink speed sensor wire and installed a switch, so that when drag racing it would bypass the speed limiter. if anyone knows please let me know..... drags are this weekend and i wont have my sld by then. Guest darrenhopper Posted September 4, 2012 Share Posted September 4, 2012 Hi-ya doing mate, as far as I can tell the Engine ECU requires the Pink wire to verify that the car is moving. If you just snip the wire & go racing the ECU will see the throttle wide open & high engine load but no motion.
