antno
Hi Just wondering how the std tt system operates the waste gate. You have a pressure feed directly in from the turbo housing into the wastegate actuator then a pipe of the other side of the actuator to the vsv. When there is a 12v feed to the vsv it allows air to pass through it? Does the pressure flow through the actuator and vsv while on boost till peak pressure is achieved, then the vsv closes forcing the pressure to operate the actuator? Do you get a feed of pressure from both sides of the actuator to operate it? I'm just wondering how 17.5 psi is achieved if you are only boosting to .8bar? antno
Looks like the vsv gets battery voltage whilst car is running then will remove the feed when maximum boost is achieved to open the waste gate
