T14PPA
hi, ive just purchased a cheap gt45 turbo kit and im wondering what size injectors people would recomend? im looking to run around 600bhp. Its going to be mapped by ryan on my hks fcon gold. Also will i need to upgrade my 255 walbro pump?
a98pmalcolm
for 600 BHP you will need a 450 pump and at least 650cc injectors
Kaan W
I have 1000cc IDs and a bosch 044 fuel pump with around 600bhp. Runs great.
T14PPA
I was thinking 850cc and 044 bosch fuel pump. Are these to big?
Wez
I was thinking 850cc and 044 bosch fuel pump. Are these to big? I would say that's a good combo for your goal

mellonman
650cc would be cutting it fine i think at 600bhp, 750cc minimum i would say always room for bigger power, im running a walbro 400 lph flows more then a bosch and so much easier to fit, it goes straight on the bracket like the
hodge
You'll need 1000cc injectors, to be safe and a Bosch 044 pump with -8AN feed line.
welshbuddy
how do you know, if there drop in injectors? as i need 750cc soon.
mellonman
depends on what rail you have stock is side entry, alot of after market are top feed the injectors can be high impendance jspec or low impedance uk. that should help

Does it operate fine with the stock fuel pump ecu? I was planning an 044 eventually but I've heard this 400 walbro mentioned on a few forums now. I was planning an 044 eventually but I've heard this 400 walbro mentioned on a few forums now. it fits straight on the stock hanger tight but fits with no modification, now the interesting bit mine didnt work with the stock ecu but that might have been the problem with mine in the first place, i had to do the 12v relay mod but have since found a poorly isulated dead ended fuel pump cut off divice of some sort may have caused the hole issue. so all in all even if having to do the 12v mod its still a hell of alot easier the the 044 just in case you need it http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?272714-12v-mod-will-this-work
bigbloodyturbo
thanks for the link, will have a read as it certainly seems easier to fit and is a dedicated in tank item which makes me feel a bit more comfortable than the 044.
Luxluc
I would go for ID1000, to be on the safe side in case you want more power.
