andz222
thinking of going single but not to sure on what turbo to go for was looking at the Garrett GTX4202R but again not sure
Luxluc
That's a mighty turbo (76mm). Are you wanting a drag Supra, or a street Supra?
add heywood
Search the forum as there is loads of info... Remember it certainly isnt just strapping a whopping turbo onto your engine
abtin90
If I was going single I'd go for a much smaller turbo. I'd personally go for the whifbitz kit or hks kit along with either a garret gt35 or a precision 6262. And a syvecs ecu. Though I guess the components you go for all depend on your budget. I wouldn't cut corners though as you'll regret it in the long run.
hazza
What about this kit? Sounds very very good been researching using the search bar on here  It has everything you need obsvously not the ecu side but you can get that sorted... I have a black Na targa auto and really debating doing this myself! What you guys think? http://www.suprastore.com/quprost2jnon.html
Dash Rendar
Or you could just buy one that's already done and good to go.

hodge
I'm running a GT42-76. It's an amazing turbo. Comes in hard at 4K and makes full boost at 5500. Wouldn't change it for the world.
tooquicktostop
Never ceases to amaze me how expensive going single really is, as said buy a good one already done
ashbuster
would you guys say garrett 4088 is too big for 550 bhp?
hodge
Never ceases to amaze me how expensive going single really is, as said buy a good one already done The only thing that would put me off about this is you could be buying someone else's trouble. If a single conversion is done badly then your in for all sorts of problems. would you guys say garrett 4088 is too big for 550 bhp? Iirc a 4088 is the smallest turbo they do for a single conversion for a supra.
